TOOL STEEL

As DÖKSAN ISIL İŞLEM VE ARGE MERKEZİ A.Ş, we have added Tool Steel sales to our heat treatment activities, which we carry out with years of experience. In this context, sales of plastic mold steels and high speed steels, especially cold and hot work tool steels, are carried out in desired dimensions as diameter, flat and square.

Tool steels are used in metal and plastic injection molds, forging and extrusion molds, mold holders and many applications in the industry, as well as processes such as cutting, bending, punching, slicing.

Production of long-lasting and economical parts in terms of manufacturing is the primary demand of Tool Steel users. For this reason, the hardness, toughness, strength and wear resistance of tool steels constitute the critical parameters. In addition to these parameters, using Tool Steel that is most suitable for working conditions makes it possible to obtain long-lasting and economical parts.

Döksan Heat Treatment and R&D Center, which has been in the heat treatment sector for a long time and is one of the leading companies in its field, established Döksan Metal to raise customer satisfaction to higher levels.

Considering the production stages in the sector, it is known that it is necessary to keep the performance/price ratio high and to have a minimum deadline in the Tool Steel procurement process.

İZOKİM S100

In order to facilitate machining after heat treatment, it provides protection of areas that are not required to be hardened against carbon and nitrogen diffusion. It is applied to reduce deformations caused by heat treatment and to facilitate operations in screw threading applications.

It is an alternative to induction tempering for local softening. It is an alternative to traditional masking methods such as Copper or Tin plating. Carbon is not desired in the junction area of the parts joined by welding method. In order to protect these areas where carbon is not desired, coating is done with our diffusion inhibitor paste (İZOKİM S100).

Due to the possibility of damaging the pumps of vacuum furnaces used in nitriding and carburising processes in a vacuum environment, it is not suitable for use in these processes.
